London City Lionesses have begun what will no doubt be the start of a cutting spree in preparation for the WSL season by announcing that Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Georgia Brougham, Megan Campbell, Lucy Fitzgerald, Emma Mukandi and Connie Scofield are all moving on. With the widely publicised investment coming into the independent women’s football club from new owner and serial women’s football investor Michelle Kang, The Lionesses will surely be going after some top talent this summer window.
As reported first by womensfootballmarket.com, sources suggest the club are keen to swoop for former Brighton & Hove Albion left-back Poppy Pattinson.
